Hi everybody. After five months of intense fun in my home edit bay exploring the power and majesty of AI, I’ve been cranking out some passion projects that I feel really good about. I get little to no response off of my postings on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram at all. Even my friends on Facebook look at the stuff but don’t spend the energy for even a thumbs up or a comment. Friends that are in the industry leave me wonderful comments. But these days there are few and far between.
So I was hoping to find a community where I could explore AI without fear of being lambasted or discounted. I’ve done things from a musical video documentary on aging with original song as well as a adaptation of the epic poem "the rhyme of the ancient mariner ". And lots of fun stuff in between.
As an editor I’ve worked on everything from HBO promos to a Hollywood movie but my primary bread-and-butter was commercials and corporate industrial presentations. But I was the music video guy at a facility and even got to work with Mel Blanc a.k.a. Bugs Bunny .
I’m looking forward to seeing what other people are doing and sharing their experience and trials and tribulations since AI can be very good for that especially for narratives and I’ve begun exploring a new hybrid approach which utilizes a low resolution animation created in a package called Iclone /AI studio. Which looks like it’s going to restore the repeatability and the match frame ability that current predictive technology somewhat laughed at.
I look forward to hearing from folks and share conversations iclone to AI studio image generation. Thanks for reading my post and I look forward to Dialogs with you in the future.
and I hope it isn’t illegal but I’m going to attach just one of my presentations that I feel really good about and it was my toe into the water of seeing if I could use a narrative poem to tell a story in AI. The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Final 1 | Tom Daigon | Flickr
