I was very impressed with this 90-second film. It was made by the talented Kavan the Kid using only (he claims) text-to-video in Google’s Veo 2. And wow Veo 2 is good.
I’ve been quite skeptical of text-to-video. Text descriptions strike me as too narrow a window of control for making good films. But this video shows you can get achieve quite high quality with just text prompts. Still, the question with most AI videos is ‘how closely does this resemble the artists original intentions?’ This model can make quite amazing things with text
