Q: Where and how do I pick up my badge?
A: The registration desk will be open on Wednesday and Thursday starting at 8:15am and will stay open until 6:00pm. The registration desk will be located directly outside the Culver Theater. Attendees will need to present a government-issued ID with their name to claim their conference badge.
Q: Where can I park?
A: We highly encourage all attendees to rideshare. There is paid all-day parking at the Ince Parking Garage at 9099 Washington Blvd and at the Cardiff Garage located at 3846 Cardiff Ave. Both garages are less than a 2-minute walk from the conference
Q: Should I bring my laptop?
A: A laptop is not necessary to enjoy AI on the Lot. However, you should bring a laptop if you want to follow along with the workshops, participate in the Gen Jam, or work at the conference. Many attendees will bring their laptops!
Q: Will there be internet access available?
A: Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi will be available in the Culver Labs. The network is “AI on the Lot attendee”. The password is: “happyprompting”.
Q: Is there a quiet place to work or take calls?
A: Official AI on the Lot buildings will be crowded and noisy. AI on the Lot has a special partnership with the co-working space Blankspaces located across the street at 9415 Culver Blvd. All conference attendees can buy discounted $5 day-passes to use their facilities for the entire day. The Culver Labs will also have open desks on the 2nd and 3rd floors where attendees can work, but be cautioned it will be noisy.
Q: Are meals provided during the conference?
A: Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both Wednesday and Thursday. Light bites and refreshments will be provided in the evening.
Q: What is the Culver Theater?
A: The Culver Theater is where the main stage programming (panels, presentations, and keynotes) will take place. It is located at 9500 Culver Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232
Q: What are the Culver Labs?
A: The Culver Labs is a three-story space where hands-on workshops, art, and AI filmmaking contests will be. The first floor is the The Stage which will host major workshops, demos, and some generative art installations. The second floor is the Dream Dojo, a teaching and hangout space run by AI artists.
