These are my two favorite video model. Honestly, I think I just like Runway’s brand/vibe the best of any of the Ai companies. I want to use them. I’ve been using Kling more and more.
Runway Pricing
- The Runway unlimited plan is like $95/month and is unlimited generations, but there’s definitely throttling as you generate more and more. Especially if you’re running simultaneous generations. At its best Runway can finish a generation in like under 30 seconds.
Kling Pricing
-
Kling AI does not offer an unlimited plan that I can see. I haven’t gotten it but the pro plan for them is $92/month for like 8,000 credits. As always, what the heck is a credit worth? A 10-second video can cost about 70 credits. So you get a little over 100 generations with the plan.

Kling has a nice lower entry point, but they’re not very attractive for a pro user. If I’m gonna do a job with Kling, I will definitely want to generate more than a 100 videos in a month. When I’m working on a real project and not messing around , I eat up credits like candy.
Kling Image Quality
- In head-to-head tests, I gotta say I think Kling takes the cake. Especially if the video has a complex visuals or motion. The images just seem more realistic.
Runway Performance
- Runway has an overall smoother generation process though. And if you’re working on a project and want to batch generate, it’s an easier flow for me.
Runway, like I said, I want to like more. It feels more like a complete filmmaking product suite. Kling gives me better outputs. I kinda doubt Kling is gonna create an interface/experience I love using, but they might prove me wrong.
